Meet Your Coach

Amanda Sheppard, M.S.Ed., SSC

Amanda has been coaching strength for over a decade. She holds a B.S. in Kinesiology: Exercise Science, a Master's in Exercise Physiology, and is a Certified Starting Strength Coach. Her coaching background spans collegiate athletics, private clients, and group instruction.


She spent years as Head Coach and Partner at Starting Strength Beaverton and has trained lifters of all ages and backgrounds. Today, she continues that work under her own brand: PittStop Strength, LLC.


Whether she’s reviewing your squat videos or teaching a rack pull in person, Amanda brings clarity, confidence, and expert support to every lifter she works with.
